::: Robust Control Theory and Applications 3 credit 3 hours
The objective of this course is to introduce the advanced theory development and associated applications of robust control. The course will provide techniques that can help graduate student to analyze and design a robust controller for systems with uncertainties. Course contents include review of MIMO control systems, review of stability analysis, modeling of unstructured and structured uncertainties, Riccati equation approach, linear matrix inequality approach. In addition, the course also introduces the analysis and design concepts of delay systems which are often encountered in practical cases.
